Personal Narrative Hero Journey Essay
First, we looked at the conventions of the personal narrative essay and you made a note.
Next, you read a personal narrative essay, “The Climb”, and answered some questions about the form.
Now, you will read a student model essay that combines the personal narrative with the hero journey stages. The essay isn’t perfect and I have included some notes at the end of the essay. Your task is to annotate the essay for BOTH the conventions of the essay and for the stages of the hero journey used.
